Case Study: Healthcare Website Redesign for HNI Healthcare
by Alexis Shen | May 16th, 2016
HNI Healthcare, one of PINT’s existing clients, has recently undergone a full website redesign. Though PINT facilitated a web redesign for HNI just last year, it was time for a new look. Read on to learn why a healthcare website redesign was in order.
HNI’s business has expanded rapidly over the past year. In light of their ongoing development, the HNI team was quick to recognize the need for their website to evolve alongside their business. HNI leadership called upon PINT to bring this new vision to life.
Project Type: Website Redesign
Technologies Used: PWP (PINT Web Platform) Content Management System
PINT services: Design, Front-end Development
HNI Healthcare, founded in 2009, is a physician practice management company that delivers technology-enabled solutions to hospitals. Though PINT facilitated a web redesign for HNI just last year, HNI’s business has expanded rapidly over the past year. In light of their ongoing development, the HNI team envisioned a new direction for their website. They saw a website which would better communicate their current business and future trajectory. In the team’s words, a site that conveyed “HNI Healthcare’s depth of hospital-based services, their dedication to healthcare IT innovation, and their quest to discover exceptional clinicians.”
Healthcare Website Redesign
In January 2016, the HNI team rolled up their sleeves and got to work on redefining their company goals and values. And not long after, they set to work with PINT on a new look for their website that reflects those values.
Julie Wolk, Director of Marketing and Communications at HNI Healthcare, spearheaded the direction of this redesign project.
“The genesis of this website change was our decision to fully define and commit to the who, what, where and why we do business. In January 2016, our leadership team rolled up their sleeves to dig into the meaty task of re-defining our core mission, vision and values. We wanted the outcome to reflect our evolving trajectory of growth, and set the course for how we tell the HNI Healthcare story.”

The new design was created with extensibility in mind. This means the PINT team wanted to create a structure that would continue to be flexible for content and imagery as HNI continues to grow. Some on the project see it as a vehicle through which HNI can communicate their story for years to come.
Next Steps for the Healthcare Website
What’s next for HNI Healthcare on the web? Continued collaboration. Director of Marketing and Communications Julie Wolk is working with PINT on a product-specific website for HNI’s core technology solutions suite: Vital Signs.
